When I met John, everything was a scoop, his infancy stories were fascinating [his progenitor was motherland and western chorister Tex Ritter], his showbiz stories were fascinating to me and he would deal them very unreservedly to anyone who would ask him questions. Why did Amy Yasbeck, John Ritter's wife, play different roles in Problem Child parts 1 and 2?

They wanted to keep her as a actress but got rid of her novel character in the first movie...just a cute and fun way to keep all the original characters

    because she was transgender

Amy Yasbeck has been my very picked actress ever since i first saw her in "Splash.Too" in 1989.That movie is amazing and she was terrific in it. I know she has made lots of movies since, and i have enjoyed them, but to me, "Spot too"

Name some movies or shows where the characters have been recycled as a "new" character or switched out?

For sample they switched the light skinned Vivian to dark skinned on Fresh Prince of Bel Air. On Problem Nipper 2 they switched Amy Yasbeck from the mom to the nurse. Did the directors think nobody would notice?

Amy Yasbeck was married to John Ritter, so I always looked at that as more of an middle joke. (he also played her ex-husband on the series Wings)

Peter Sellers played three diverse characters in Dr. Strangelove

    Julie Christie
