    Cumberland County Commissioner Charles Evans took his longstanding beef with the Fayetteville Regional Congress to the county's Policy Committee on Thursday.

    Evans, who is chairman of the committee for 2013, has long complained that the county doesn't get enough value for the $400,000 it gives the congress each year for economic development.

    Evans wants the funding tied to the number of jobs brought to the community by the Mercantile Development Alliance, the chamber's newly delineated arm for attracting industry.

    His idea did not get much traction Thursday. Commissioner Billy Monarch also said he was dissatisfied with the number of jobs coming in. But Commissioner Marshall Faircloth said it would be out of the question for the alliance to budget if it can't count on funding.

    "I don't see this as a viable alternative at this point," Faircloth said.

    Russ Rogerson, who was hired to nut the alliance in 2012, pledged to be open about what his office is working on and the reasons behind any of its successes or failures.

    I bought Cut by Patricia McCormick yesterday. And while reading it I was drinking a decanter of water and accidently spilt some on page seven. I wiped it and left it to dry but today the page is unreadable and I cannot make common sense of page eight

    i in actuality dont know i jus tstarted the book but is it good so far ya kno they made a movie of it with kristen stewart init it is a lifetime flicks network movie

    okay so im prevalent for the bettie page, patricia day, black haired pin up girl look. my hair is all black, i have the 2 peices of blonde on the sides like patricia does, and i have like the side bangs, but im wondering if it woud be unpleasant to get

    well i dont recognize how to do it, but if i were you i would take those pictures to a salon and ask the person there to give you those bangs and they will probally do a good job with them. I wouldnt do them yourself though, because those kind of bangs
