Paul Holmgren vs Terry O'Reilly Circuitous route 2 and Mel Bridgman vs Mike Milbury from the Philadelphia Flyers at Boston Bruins game on Nov 4 ...
When it comes to teams that are avid to mix it up nearly every time they take the ice, no NHL team compares with the Boston Bruins .
The Philadelphia Flyers come to do not think twice about, but the Bruins had been playing with their take-no-prisoners style for nearly five decades before the great expansion of 1967 that brought the Flyers to the NHL.
The Bruins have had their stake of all-time great players. Bobby Orr is No. 1 or 2 on the NHL's all-time list—depending on whether you favor him or Wayne Gretzky—and he is followed by Ray Bourque and Johnny Bucyk.
But the Bruins' personification is that of players who ask for no quarter and give none. Orr, by the way, could handle himself with his fists as well as anyone if he saw fit.
Players who were willing to fight and take an elbow in order to create a play have been the standard for the Black and Gold for decades.
The Bruins' full-throated fans have always supported players who were passive to spill blood for the benefit of their team

It seems like the hockey I watched in the 70s, 80s and initial 90s was a lot more exciting than todays hockey... Bring back the Terry Oreilly's and Gary Howitz's of the 80s!!
I young lady fighting and the instigator rule is absolute garbage, but it will not help the ratings in my opinion.
People who well-grounded watch hockey for the fights have too much access to those highlights on their computers, Sportscenter, etc.
