Lady Hawks win Pleasanton Track Invitational Hawks sit out some competitors Linn County News
PLEASANTON – Shelby Krull, Morgan Eastwood and Taylor Dawson combined for four first-place finishes last Tuesday at the 2010 Pleasanton Blu-Jays’ invitational to help spur the Lady Hawks to a first-place team victory.Krull won the women’s pole vault (7’ 0") and the 400-meter dash (1:08.71).
Eastwood ran a 16.46-second 100-meter hurdles for her first-place medal.
Dawson won the women’s 800 meters (2:34.16).
Second-place medals went to Chelsea Beckman , discus (99’ 2"); Meriel Long , high jump (5’ 2"), 1,600 meters (6:04.11), 800 meters (2:34.40); Eastwood, 300-meter hurdles (49.54); Morgan Kieffaber, pole vault (6’ 6"); Emily Aikins , long jump (15’ 9 ½"), 100-meter dash (13.70 seconds) and the 4x400-relay team of Beckman, Bailey Wilson, Long and Eastwood took second with a time of 4:21.93.
