In defiance of Kelowna’s notorious late-comers, Kelowna Community Theatre slowly but confidently filled Friday night for comedian Gerry Dee.
Dee’s opening act, Trent McClellan provided the audience with a hysterical warm up discussing everything from relationships to his experience as a black man from the maritimes.
His set was relatively short, but the audience was in condition when Dee took the stage.
The Canadian comedian, who currently works as a sports correspondent for The Be successful and travels North America performing for audiences everywhere, unveiled some new material and stuck to some old favourites.
Not only did he quota stories of raising with a two-year-old and his relationship with his wife, but also devoted some time to heckling the audience.
While his jokes weren’t unconditionally mean-spirited, I felt sorry for the kinesiology student who dared suggest Dee hadn’t well-thought-out the same. Dee actually did take kinesiology, which led to a short-lived career as a teacher.
years old now has already surprisingly sold more than 55,000,000 copies of his albums all around the world. Robbie Williams said: “The new album will be a killer. Both the old Robbie and the new Robbie will not be the same Robbie you will see in the new album. Robbie rewrote a number cheaply from Michael Jackson in his album in order to show his respect for the late king.
